Transgender actress Candis Cayne has joined the cast of “The Young and the Restless” in the guest role of a wedding planner for the upcoming wedding. She is all set to debut later today on Tuesday, December 2, 2015. Candis will be playing a wedding planner of on screen characters Dr. Ben “Stitch” Rayburn who goes by the nickname Stitch (Played by Sean Carrigan) and Abby Newman (Played by Melissa Ordway Gaston). The episodes that she filmed last month in November 2015, are finally set to start airing today. Guess who visited the 44 year old American actress on set during filming her scenes? None other than – Caitlyn Jenner, previously called Bruce Jenner. The 44 year old was surprised and very happy when her best friend showed up to give her support.

The cast of “The Young and the Restless” loved having the transgender actress on the CBS show. They were very welcome to her, and showed her a lot of respect. Candis wasn’t really born a female, she was born a male along with his fraternal twin brother, before transitioning in 1990’s, a couple of years later she got the attention of the world when she won a role in the television series “Dirty Sexy Money” portraying the recurring role of Carmita Rainer, a trans woman involved in an affair with a character named Senator Patrick Darling, played by actor WIlliam Baldwin. She was the first transgender actress to ever play a recurring role in the television series and that too as a trans woman, which was a very great thing to have ever happened to her.
This year Candis was seen in a movie “Myrna” as Holland Hollis, and is rumored to star in a 2016 movie “Slate & Kelly” as Jodie Bevans. Hope the rumor turns out to be true, and she appears in the movie.
