Fear Clinic star Brandon Beemer has been confirmed to return to NBC’s ‘Days of our Lives’ in the contract role of Shawn-Douglas Brady’s recast after Jason Cook’s two month contract ends. In early 2016, he will be taking over the important role from the Dark Awakening actor who currently portrays Shawn D. Beemer. The character was last seen on ‘Days of our Lives’ in 2008 before leaving Salem with his on screen family i.e wife Belle Brady and baby girl Claire for good to sail around the world and also to strengthen their relationship after just reconciling. Now that the character of Shawn has returned to Salem on October 25th, his wife (Martha Madison) and now a teenage daughter (Played by Olivia Rose Keegan) are all set to return end of November to be with their loved ones.
The 35 year old actor will once again be taking the role over from Jason, which he has already done before years ago after the actor had left the show. It’s difficult to tell who plays the role best, because both actors are so good. The casting agents made the best decision by asking Brandon to return to the role which only he and Jason are good at playing. After leaving the role of Days in 2008, he had landed another contract role of Owen Knight on another soap opera “The Bold and the Beautiful, which he had portrayed from 2008-2012. After departing from B&B he went on to star a TV show, and movies “Bering Sea Beast”, “Non-Stop”, “Wedding Planner Mystery”, “Fear Clinic”, and most recently on “In “Extremis”
An important question for the Soap Opera and Brandon Beemer fans. Will you continue watching “Dool” once Brandon debuts in 2016 and how do you feel about him returning to the show after such a long time?
