Days of Our Lives star Sal Stowers who is currently busy filming her new movie where she plays the lead role of Krista, is all set to return to the show either later this year or early next year. She has been away for a while, especially after her on screen break up with Shawn Douglas played by actor Brandon Beemer. She handled it maturely, and moved on with her life as Shawn rekindled his romance with his ex wife Belle Brady, played by Martha Madison, they are both currently away in Hong Kong where Belle was given a job by her good friend Chad DiMera, played by Billy Flynn. Sal gave a hint of her return when she attended the #13000 episodes Days of our Lives party in July. Even tweeting the message : “Congratulations Days Of Our Lives on reaching #13000 episodes. So honored to have been there today! Thank you!“.
Stowers character Lani will be back just in time for the upcoming family drama which has got to do with her dad and Dr. Valerie Grant’s affair which Theo won’t take too well. Lani will be there for both her dad and brother, and will probably try to get through to her brother, about it’s okay moving on and by moving on it doesn’t mean his mother, Lexie will be forgotten. It was about time the writers wrote Lani back into the storyline, it was upsetting when Shawn broke her heart, after leading her on. If all he wanted to do was break her heart, why did he ask her out on a date, was it a rebound? Whatever the reason was, he shouldn’t have led her on. I think the writers should find Lani a love interest, because she deserves a good looking guy in her life. Or perhaps they could bring that Australian actor back who plays the role of Fynn Thompson. Remember that scene when he openly flirted with Lani, who turned him down. Or the writers could hook her up with someone new, who won’t break her heart.
Plus new writers have taken over the show too, who are interested in conflict and dramas, embracing the dark stories. You know everything with the mystery and etc. What the new writers have in store would be really great seeing.
