Soap opera actor Riley Bodenstab has been featured in the Soap Opera Digest magazine. The young actor has been portraying the role of Cole Hines on the NBC’s soap opera drama series “Days of Our Lives” ever since the character first debuted on June 5, 2013. He has been recurring since then. Days star mentioned during his interview with the magazine that when he first appeared on the show, he was only known as the Bad Teen No. 2, his character didn’t have a name. He came in with his Days co-star Kevin Riggins who plays the role of JJ’s best friend, Rory. He has appeared as Cole in over 45 episodes so far from 2013 up to now. The most episodes he has appeared in is this year in 2015. He describes his character Cole Hines as a people-pleaser. The show liked Riley’s performance so much that they decided to give him a name and a recurring role.
Cruel Will actor guest starred on the show “Justified” again earlier this year in 2015. He first debuted on the show last year in 2014, on Season 5, Episode 2 “The Kids Aren’t All right”. After that he had booked a role of Doug on the “Life In Pieces” pilot. The show was picked up into series last month in May 2015. It’s unknown if the Villisca actor will recur in the show now that the series has been picked up, but if the writers of the upcoming show ask him to continue starring in the series, then the role will probably be a recurring one.
Riley was born on March 29th to parents Gary and Jeannie Bodenstab. He has one younger sibling called Meghan Bodenstab, a graphic designer, who is 3 years younger then him.
