The latest cast member to leave the NBC’s long running American soap opera drama series “Days of Our Lives” is none other than Terrell Ransom Jr. The American child actor and model is set to leave the show next month in July 2015. He first debuted on the show as Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Lexie Carver’s (Renee Jones) son Theo carver on May 20, 2008. During his time on the show, he has played the role of an autistic child for 7 years and has appeared in over 161 episodes as of 2015. There have been rumors spreading lately about the role of Theo being recasted, now that Terrell is leaving the show, does that mean the role of Theo is being recasted?
Earlier this year in March 2015, two casting calls have been called out. One for an Amercan Caucasian 16 year old boy and another one for an African American 16 year old boy called Elijah, who happens to suffer from a high functioning autistic. The role of Joey has been given to actor James Lastovic who has already started taping and will debut soon. The contract role of Elijah is still being casted. Elijah sounds much like Theo Carver’s character doesn’t he? Could it be that the role has already been casted, and those attached to the show have decided to keep it a secret, until the character debuts on the show? Is Elijah really Theo? We will find out soon, I guess. If Elijah is really Theo then we will get to see the character more, because the role happens to be a contract.
Besides appearing on the soap opera, the young voice actor has also appeared on the series “The Amazing World of Gumball” as Darwin Watterson (voice), two episodes of “The Whispers” as Ethan. Jr has two movies in the pre-production stage called Problem Child and The Nerd Posse. And the animation film where he will be portraying the additional voice roles that is set to release on June 17, 2016.
