Abigail Titmus has debuted on drama series “Days of our Lives” as a nurse called Jackie on Monday, November 23, 2015. Former glamor model has scored her big USA gig ever by landing a role in the Daytime NBC series. After making her first on screen appearance as the nurse on November 23rd, Abi left two messages on her Instagram account – “SO HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT I’VE JOINED THE CAST OF NBC’s EMMY AWARD WINNING ‘DAYS OF OUR LIVES‘ !! #days #firstEp #Jackie #America?”. Followed by another message “She couldn’t believe that she’s now part of this incredible, 50 year old U.S. show!! #Days #Jackie @nbcdays #blessed“. And now mostly recently on Wednesday, December 9th she tweeted : “Hope you enjoyed me on @nbcdays today! As #NurseJackie.” message.
Not everyone gets lucky. Many celebrities have been turned down when they auditioned for the show, one of them being Ashley Greene who sadly didn’t get the part she had auditioned for. Titmus who now goes by her stage name Abigail Evelyn which she had changed in early 2015, so she could start her new career as an actress after moving to Los Angeles. The 39 year old has every reason to be happy after joining the cast of Days as a recurring character. Besides the NBC show, She recently appeared as a guest star on “Blood Relatives” as Alice. The 5 feet 6 inches tall actress is also shooting a 2016’s movie called “Ava’s Impossible Things” in the lead role of Anna / Freya . The movie is written and directed by Marina Rice Bader.
Congrats Abigail. You have come a long way.
