Former Days of our Lives star Greg Vaughan is being rumored to join the cast of “The General Hospital” as Lucky Spencer’s recast. As of December 2015, Greg is no longer a cast member of the NBC show Days of our Lives, he has been signed off contract and has not been seen on set shooting for the soap opera. His character is still going to air until early 2016, and after that Eric Fans will have to say bye to his character Eric Brady and the actor who played him. His character will probably be written off the same time as Dr Daniel Jonas’s.
The character of Lucky Spencer was last played by actor Jonathan Jackson in 2015 when he found and brought Jake Morgan back to his mother Liz. As many of the General Hospital fans are aware, that Vaughan had played the contract role of Lucky Spencer’s recast from 2003 up to 2009, before leaving the show on September 28, 2009, with his character last seen on October 20th. In 2012, it was announced that the former GH actor has joined the cast of “Days of our Lives” in the contract role of Eric Brady, making his first on screen appearance on November 13, 2012 as a recast of Eric Brady, previously played by actor Jensen Ackles. It’s just a matter of time before Lucky Spencer returns. As Liz is about to get dumped by Jason Morgan for her lies, and she will feel very lonely. Lucky’s return would make a huge difference to her, and he will give her reasons to believe in love again.
The 42 year old actor recently starred in the Hallmark’s 2015 movie “The Christmas Note” as Kyle which released on November 29, 2015. The movie had also starred Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Dylan Kingwell.
