Soap opera actor Justin Hartley has left the show of ‘The Young and the Restless’ after playing the role of Adam Newman for a few years. After playing the role for a while, Justin decided it was time for him to leave the soap opera show, so he could focus on other projects. On September 2nd, the actor confirmed his departure news, by posting a long message for his fans on his official Facebook account, after realizing it was about time for him to tell the truth to his fans. The reason he was quiet all this time was because he didn’t want to ruin the storyline. He tweeted “To The Wonderful Fans of The Young and the Restless” and included his Facebook link post.
Hartley’s fans who loved him on the soap opera show was heartbroken upon hearing the news that they will no longer see him on their favorite show. Now that the actor has left the show, the character will be played by someone else, as the character happens to be an important role, and they cannot just write it out. Instead recasting the character would be a good idea, but choosing the right actor to play the role would be a difficult thing to do. They cannot ask the previous actor to return because of some strange reasons, however they can get someone else to play the role.
As for Justin’s fans, they will see him on the new show, where he bagged the lead role of Kevin. The show is called “This Is Us”, which is all set to appear in the coming weeks. Starring opposite him will be actress Mandy Moore.
