Michael Easton has signed on to appear on ‘General Hospital’ again, but this time as a new character. He began filming on February 26th and will debut on March 18. The 49 year old had confirmed on February 27th on his Facebook account – “& SO IT BEGINS..” The message was shared by his over 183 fans. He is best known for portraying the role of Dr. Silas Gray on the show for years, before leaving the show, after his character was killed off. Now that the actor has returned to the show in a mysterious new role, the viewers will have to wait until March 18th to find out more about his character.
When Michael was let go from the show, the fans were very disappointed and demanded for his character to be brought back. It may have taken time, but ABC have finally decided to bring the actor back. They did that by offering a new role to the actor as the character of Silas was no longer needed. In the 27 second clip posted by the show itself, Executive Producer Frank Valentini can be seen bumping into Easton at the supermarket, they talk for a bit, and the producer can be seen offering a new role to him, which he accepted happily. Frank Valentini tweeted on February 27th about the 49 year old’s return too – “Easton taped his first scenes yesterday. Very exciting stuff. #GH.“
Welcome back to the show Michael.
