Newcomer Paige Nicole Searcy has been confirmed to have booked a major role in the NBC’s soap opera “Days of our Lives” as Jade. The Texas born actress who is new to the acting world, is all set to make her acting debut on TV on February 22, 2016 in the recurring role of Jade. The casting call that was released earlier this year has described the character as a 15-16 year old teen belonging to any race. Just like any teenager who will be “Flirty, free spirit and an out going girl, who will fall hard for a boy she meets, and ends up going out with him.” Could that boy by any chance be Joey Johnson aka James Lastovic? It could be.
On November 7th, Searcy was seen attending Dool’s 50th Anniversary Celebration at Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California. She posed with her “Days of Our Lives” co-star actor James Lastovic who plays the role of Joey Johnson.
The 17 year old actress and dancer is from Katy, Texas. She was born on July 18, 1998 and is of French, Mexican and Irish background. Years ago in 2009, she moved to Los Angeles with her family, and discovered her one true love which was acting in one of the musical theatres programs. After moving to LA, she began attending Millikan Middle School and was motivated to pursue an acting career. After graduating from the middle school, she heard about the soap opera audition and auditioned for the recurring role of Jade, and to her surprise, the casting agents decided to cast her in the role. This will be the Millikan Middle School’s former student’s first major acting role.
Starting an acting career with the show that has been around since 1965 is a major thing. Look out for the newcomer American actress to make her first on screen appearing the month of February 2016 next year, and feel free to praise her for good acting skills once the episode starts airing.
Good luck, Paige & Congrats for being part of the “Days of our Lives” cast.
