Australian singer Cody Simpson has booked his first ever lead role in a movie called ‘North Shore Wave Warrior’ as a character named Ivan Konig. The sport film which is a remake of North Shore is all set to be filmed in Hawaii is about a young surfer Konig, who surfs on North Shore for the first time competing against rival Zeke. The movie is still currently being developed, in the coming months, we will find out the exact date and month on why the movie will go into production and filming will start. The great part is that, the film is being written and directed by the same director, William Phelps who directed the original movie.
The 19 year old handsome stud, is taking his movie role very seriously and has been seen few times surfing as he’s busy preparing himself for whats to come. Since the actor signed on his first movie role, he has been spending most of his time in the shore. As the saying goes, practice makes perfect. Simpson started his acting career in 2015, when he appeared in an episode of Cougar Town as Pete which he performed well, in the same year he appeared as himself on Nickleodeon’s film “One Crazy Cruise” and now he has booked a lead role in the North Shore remake which is all about surfing is like a dream come true for him. In the coming months, the actor will give us some more information about his new role.
