The Delta Force star George Kennedy has passed away on Sunday morning, February 28, 2016. He died because of an old age and some health issues at his place according to his grandson Cory. Before starting his acting career, he served in world war 2 as a US Army. From 1959 the year he started his acting career until 2014, he has appeared in over 182 movies total, both Films and Television. The late actor last appeared in the soap opera TV show called “The Young and the Restless” as Albert Miller for few episodes and in a film : The Gambler as Ed. Most of his fans will remember him for playing their favorite character Dragline in a 1967 movie “Cool Hand Luke” opposite actor Paul Newman.

George had appeared on “Airport 1975” for which he had received a Golden Globe Award Nomination. He had also starred on “The Naked Gun” from 1988 upto 1994 as Ed Hocken. His fans saw him for the last time in 2014 in The Gambler. After that he had retired from acting as he was too old to act and didn’t have the strength to. Now that he is gone, his loyal fans will always remember him including “The Young and the Restless” viewers. Kennedy had a really good height, he was very tall. Did you guys know that he was 6 feet 4 tall? And that the ladies were crazy about him. Not just that but he had a good heart as well. He married thrice. He was previously married to Dorothy Theresa Gillooly (from 1946-1959) AND Norma Wurman.(twice resulting in divorce). He was married to Joan McCarthy from 1978-2015 (her death).
