One Direction member Louis Tomlinson has been signed up on X Factor by the television talent judge Simon Cowell according to some sources. Louis will be replacing Simon’s good friend Sinitta as the mentor who the 55 year old thinks is the best choice. Signing up the 23 year old singer in hopes of boosting the ratings, after the other show Strictly Come Dancing easily defeated Cowell’s show in the weekend by a few million views more. One thing is for sure that signing one of the most powerful boyband members in the world to the show was the best decision ever made by the 55 year old. The singer’s entry to the show will boost the ratings for sure.
Besides being a One Direction member, Louis is also the proud owner of a production company called 78 Productions Limited under label Syco Records and backed by SONY. The star’s new production company is a record label created in hopes of signing new artists and giving a new artist’s platform. He is also about to have his hands full, because he is reportedly expecting a baby with his good friend Briana Jungwirth early next year. Once the band (One Direction) splits up next year in 2016, the new daddy to be, will be busy with his new record label company which will be his number one priority. During one of his interviews, when he was asked about his new record label company he said the following. He dished : “This is something he always wanted to do, and to be given this chance of giving new artists a platform, is an incredible feeling.” His plan is : “The 23 year old singer and a record label owner hopes to sign some really exciting new artists down the line soon.” It will be great seeing Louis working with new artists. The singer has made his mother, Johanna Deakin a director of his business. His sister is also One Direction’s make-up artist, thanks to her brother Louis for getting her a job.
