Graceland’s star Annie Ilonzeh bags a recurring role in the second season of the television series “Empire” that first premiered on January 7, 2015. She is set to play the role of a seductive reporter, Harper Scott, described as someone who is smart and a tough young lady who does everything in her power to get answers, thanks to her amazing good looks. The show she bagged a role in is about an entertainment company and music, the empire entertainment and the drama that takes place among the founder’s family members as they fight for the company control. Lead roles are played by actor Terrence Howard and actress Taraji P. Henson. The second season premiered on September 23, 2015 after being renewed for 18 episodes.
According to sources, the 32 year old actress will first debut on the show after the Winter break in 2016. She will be appearing in the show’s final 8 episodes which will air in the spring. Switched at Birth former star had also starred on “Graceland” and was all set to appear on the 4th season of the show in the recurring role of Courtney, after landing the role in early 2015, but unfortunately it was cancelled. On October 1st the USA Network decided to cancel the show after just 3 seasons. She had also guest-starred on “Drop Dead Diva”, “Arrow”, and “Persons of Interest”. And starred in few movies such as “Killer Reality” and “Hatfields & McCoys” in 2013.
