Molly Burnett who currently starred on “CSI: Cyber” has booked a role in the upcoming TV series ‘Relationship Status’. She confirmed on social networking site Twitter “So honored to being a part of this amazing show. You guys will LOVE!.” The show is currently in the development stage is about the dramedy use of the social media following the storyline of thirty people living in two different cities New York and Los Angeles. This new upcoming show which is written by Céline Geiger and directed by Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum will soon premiere on the streaming video app this coming spring later this year. Stars confirmed to be starring in this series are Milo Ventimiglia, Molly Burnett, James Frey, Emma Bell, Shawn Ashmore and Patrick Carlyle.
The news of her casting comes soon after the departure of her co-star Kate Mansi from ‘Days of our Lives’. With Molly all set to return next week to the soap opera drama series so she could bury her on screen daddy Dr Daniel Jonas, Kate confirmed the news about her departure from the show. She felt like it was the right time to leave the show after her contract finally ended in December. She had two options 1. Either to renew it or 2. Not to. So she went with the second option. The role of Abigail Deveraux could be re-cast, but then again it might not as well.
Whether the 27 year old will be returning to the show briefly or for long term is unknown. The only news available right now is that she is returning to the show to bury her on screen dad Daniel Jonas who died in a car crash after being pronounced brain dead. Stay tuned to find out which character she will be hooking up with in between Philip, Shawn, Dario or someone new.
