Christopher Chace Crawford, who is best known as Chace Crawford has been cast as Billy in the TV series which was formerly called “Boom” and after that it was untitled waiting for it to be titled. After the good news has started surfacing the net that the pilot has been picked up into series, the title of the show has been changed to “Oil”. It was formerly called Boom until it got picked into series. The upcoming show is set to air on an American commercial broadcast television network ABC as part of the 2015-2016 television series along with other new series that has been picked up by the ABC.
Many famous celebrities will be joining Chace in the show, including actor Don Johnson who is set to execute produce and also star in the show as a powerful alpha tycoon Happ Briggs. Amber Valetta is set to play the tycoon’s wife, Darla who is sorta bitchy. Chace and Rebecca will be portraying the characters of a poor protagonists married couple, Billy and Cody LeFever. The 29 year old heartrob last appeared in the television series three years ago, and now after three years we will get to see the talented actor not only in a different role but also in a completely different show where he will find his character, Billy and his onscreen wife played by Rebecca get into trouble with a dangerous tycoon played by Don Johnson. The series is set to air later this year as part of the 2015-2016 series.
