Abigail Deveraux (played by Kate Mansi) has had enough of her ex Ben Weston (played by Robert Scott Wilson) following her and making her life a living hell. She decides to act upon her thirst for revenge by punishing batty Ben in the worst way ever. On this week’s episode, she will pretend to be interested in him, by seducing him, and once she gets him to bed, she will manage to tie him down and begin torturing him. On this week’s episode, the viewers will get to see the dark side of Abigail, after she starts torturing the Necktie Killer and set him on fire. Yes, she will be setting him on fire, and after the incident, he will be found badly injured and rushed to the hospital where he will be hospitalised.

Abigail has been shown to be losing her mind and has even imagined seeing the murderer few times already. But this time, she will see him for real, and do something about it. Help will arrive late, and Abby will be successful in torturing her ex. Chad DiMera (played by Billy Flynn) could be the guy who arrives on time to stop Abby from committing a serious crime. Abby will realize that she has to go away for a while to get the help she deserves, she will check into mental asylum to recover leaving behind her husband, Chad and son Thomas Deveraux.

As the character of Abigail leaves, Kate Mansi will be leaving too, as it was earlier announced that the actress has left the show, and a new actress has been recast in the role. When the character returns after a few months, we will get to see a new actress playing the role.
