Second Chances actor Greg Vaughan had announced on his Twitter account the good news about extending his contract with the hit show “Days of our Lives” on August 21. He seemed very excited as he tweeted the following message for his over 41K fans :-
“Great day today! Official contract Days of our Lives extension & new movie on Hallmark Channel Truly Blessed!.”
Sounds like a happiest guy on earth, doesn’t he? It’s great knowing that he’s sticking around and not leaving. Greg has been starring on the NBC show since 2012 in the contract role of fan favorite Eric Brady, the twin brother of Sami Brady previously played by.Alison Sweeney who is all set to return to the show.
Vaughan first debuted as the son of Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), Eric Brady on November 13, 2012. Since he came to Salem, his character has been involved with many ladies including Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Serena Mason (Melissa Archer). After finding out of Serena’s betrayal he broke up with her, and has fallen in love with his ex girlfriend Nicole again. But the problem is that Nicole is all set to marry Daniel Jonas, played by Shawn Ashford. The actor who plays Daniel has been confirmed to leave the show soon, making it clear that when he finds out that that his fiancee is still in love with her ex, Eric he will break up with her and leave town with his son Parker unable to take the heartbreak well. By leaving town, Daniel will be letting Nicole and Eric get back together, and who knows they might end up getting married too, now that Daniel will be out of the picture.
It seems like the 42 year old actor has no plans of disappointing his fans by leaving the soap opera show. Plus he has proved to the fans how caring he is to his cousin Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) and defends her. I love the bonding, am sure many do too.
